Terms and Conditions for Initial Consultation

By checking the box and submitting the online payment form, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions for the Initial Consultation outlined below.

  1. You agree to pay a non-refundable consultation fee of $150 CAD, plus applicable taxes and online payment processing fee, for this initial consultation meeting. You acknowledge that this fee, which covers up to 30 minutes of consultation, is non-refundable under any circumstances. Additionally, you acknowledge and agree that time exceeding the initial 30 minutes will be considered as a separate session, and wil billed at the same rate as described above.

     

  2. You agree to coordinate with TWA to schedule the initial consultation at a mutually convenient time following the completion of payment. TWA will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred schedule; however, the final date and time of the consultation will be confirmed by TWA based on availability. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and being available at the scheduled time.

     

  3. You acknowledge and agree that, should you retain our service within 1 week of the initial consultation by signing a Retain Agreement (“RA”) AND paying the required retainer fee deposit, the fee paid for the initial consultation will be credited towards the total retainer fee specified in the RA.

  4. You acknowledge and agree that any information provided to TWA prior to and during the initial consultation is intended solely for the purpose of obtaining consultation services. This information does not constitute the establishment of a formal client-representative relationship. Such a relationship will only be established upon the execution of a RA with TWA and the formal commencement of a representative client relationship.

  5. You agree that the initial consultation provided by TWA may be conducted via telephone, Skype, email, Zoom, in person, or any other format mutually agreed upon by you and TWA. You understand that the purpose of the consultation is to provide the Consultant with required information to allow for an initial analysis and preliminary advice on immigration options and opinions, including estimated time frame, legal fees and associated costs. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law in effect in the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and the Canadian federal authorities / jurisdiction. Please be advised that the Counsel is a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, and as such, is bound by its By-laws, Code of Professional Conduct, and associated Regulations.
