加拿大超級簽證 Super Visa 計劃新政：停留時間增至5年​

2022年6月7日，加拿大移民、難民及公民部（IRCC）宣佈放寬父母和祖父母的超級簽證（Super Visa）計劃內容，新政策將使家庭更容易團聚。

新的超級簽證計劃內容變動將於 2022年7月4日生效，主要的變更包括：

• Increase the length of stay for super visa holders to 5 years per entry into Canada 超級簽證持有人每次入境加拿大的停留時間增加至 5 年
  • People who have a super visa also have the option to request to extend their stay by up to 2 years at a time while in Canada. 身在加拿大的超級簽證持有人可以每次申請延長居留時間，長達 2 年
• Allow the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship to designate international medical insurance companies to provide coverage to super visa applicants in the future 允許IRCC部長指定國際的醫療保險公司向未來的超級簽證申請人提供保險
  • Currently, only Canadian insurance providers can provide the necessary medical coverage that super visa applicants are required to have. Information about any designated medical insurance companies located outside of Canada will be communicated on IRCC’s website at a later date. 目前，只有加拿大保險公司能夠提供超級簽證申請人所需的必要醫療保險。關於加拿大以外的任何指定醫療保險公司的資訊，將於稍後時間在IRCC網站上公佈。

自 2011 年以來，加拿大的超級簽證計劃使公民和永久居民能夠與父母和祖父母長期團聚。超級簽證有效期長達 10 年，並允許簽證持有人多次入境。超級簽證比普通的多次入境訪問簽證更有利，通常後者允許的逗留時間較短，大約只有6個月或更短。

超級簽證對加拿大公民和永久居民來說，是與父母和祖父母團聚的方便選擇。而每年，IRCC會批出大約 17,000 個超級簽證。
